Does this void my Stratasys warranty or service contract?

FAQ

FAQ

No - the upgrade is 100% digital and fully reversible in under 5 minutes. Once rolled back, the printer looks exactly as it did from the factory. No hardware modifications, no soldering, no logs.

Is the upgrade detectable by Stratasys or dealers?

No - there are no traces in the printer logs. Our software upgrade is completely undetectable. Many clients continue using official service without any issues.

Will the printer be bricked or damaged?

No - the installation is purely software-based. If anything goes wrong (which has never happened), we have deep knowledge of every Stratasys printer and can restore the system from any state instantly. We provide remote support 24/7.

Can I use any third-party filament (Polymaker, Bambu Lab, etc.)?

Yes - once upgraded, you can print with any filament without restrictions. We help our clients to tune basic parameters for specific material (ASA, ABS, PC-ABS, etc.).

How does chip reuse work?

After the upgrade, the printer no longer interacts with the chip in the usual way. Any chip - even a depleted or locked one - is seen as fresh with a predefined starting volume. The user can choose the volume from several standard options (e.g., 123 ci for 2 kg spools, 200 ci, 500 ci, or any custom value) directly after the upgrade. Volume decreases normally during printing, but resets completely on reinsertion. This allows unlimited reuse of OEM chips without any restrictions.

Is it reversible?

Yes - rollback takes under 5 minutes. The printer returns to its original state, and all service contracts remain intact.

What if I have an older model (e.g., Dimension SST1200, Fortus 250)?

We also support older series with a lower price (300–500 USD). The same chip freedom and third-party filament support apply.

Do you provide support after installation?

Yes – 6 months of unlimited support + remote help. We’re always available via WhatsApp/Telegram.

Can you help with other printer issues (sensors, failures, etc.)?

Yes - we gladly help our clients fix common failures (sensors, heaters, boards, etc.). Stratasys and dealers usually replace entire modules at high cost and long lead times. We know the full electronics and can repair most issues quickly and cheaply, saving you time and money.

My printer model or feature is not in your list - can you help?

Yes - we always meet our clients halfway and provide custom solutions on request. Price is discussed individually for each case.
